The Children’s Carnival Song Festival will take place on Saturday, February 14, at 7:00 p.m. at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras, as part of the events of the Children’s Carnival organized by KEDIP – Patras Carnival.
Remaining faithful to its annual appointment, the Junior Choir of the Polyphonic Choir of Patras, one of the first organizations to support this Festival, will participate once again under the direction of Marialena Bokari, presenting the song “The Forest Fairy,” with lyrics and music written by the conductor herself.
This is an original work, with special reference to respect for and protection of our planet’s natural wealth.
The 30-member Junior Choir of the Polyphonic Choir of Patras conveys its message through the lyrics of the song:
In the forest birds are singing, never letting us forget,
Butterflies in the shade bring gentle colors yet.
The fairy softly sings, nature comes alive once more,
Cleaner air and brighter skies than ever seen before.
Admission to the public is free.
