The 10th anniversary concert (2014–2025) of the Music School of the "Polyphonic Choir of Patras" (Artistic Director: Giorgos Bourdopoulos, Administrative Director: Effi Kavvadia) was an outstanding success last Sunday, held before a packed audience at the "Tolis Nomikos" concert hall.
The event began with welcoming speeches by the Artistic Director of the Organization, Stavros Solomos, and the Directors of the Music School, Giorgos Bourdopoulos and Effi Kavvadia. At the start of the second half, the Chairman of the Board, Yiannis Kottoros, presented the vision and philosophy of the Music School, addressing the audience.
The program featured works by renowned composers, including:
Artie Shaw, Yuri Vesnyak, Duke Ellington, Pablo de Sarasate, Georges Bizet, Raffaele Calace, Darius Milhaud, Richard K. Levan, Tal Zilber, Pat Metheny, and Vincent Youmans.

Upcoming Concerts:
As part of its activities, the Music School of "Polyphonic" is preparing its 11th Student Concert, this time featuring the Guitar Department (class of instructor Christos Tsailakis), to be held on Saturday, June 28, at 8:00 PM.
Additionally, two Percussion Department concerts (the 12th & 13th) will take place on Sunday, June 29, at 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM, under the guidance of percussion instructor Giorgos Lambrakos.
On Monday, June 30, at 7:00 PM, the 14th Student Concert will showcase the Flute & Piano Departments (classes of instructors Sergios Soiles and Angeliki Kyriakopoulou).
All concerts will be held at the "Tolis Nomikos" concert hall, with free admission for the public.
