YOYTH CHOIR

The POLYPHONIC CHOIRS of Patras, YOYTH CHOIR, was founded in September 2010, under the Organization's activities in order to satisfy the needs of our youngest members after their graduation from the Children's Choir. It consists of girls aged 18-26, which, as a whole, derive from the members of the ''Children Choir'', choristers with experience and great vocal skills.
Youth Choirs first appearance was at the International Conference of Medical Chemistry that was held in April 13, in collaboration with the famous Greek composer Mimis Plessas and the Plucked String Orchestra of the Municipality of Patras in the presence of the great scientist and a Nobel price awarded professor, James Watson.
At April 16, the Choir participated at the great Sacred Concert of our Organization, that was held at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras the incomes of which were given to the ''Association for Mental Health."  in Patras.
Furthermore, the Youth Choir participated at the Regional contest organized by the Greek Orthodox Church's "Synod Committee for Youth" at the Conference Center of the Technological Institute of Patras. Last but not least our Choir took part in the anniversary concert that was held at the University of Patras, on the occasion of celebrating the 25th year of the Department.
The soul and first director of the Youth Choir, which have been awarded several times in Greece and abroad, is Mo Hellen Papadopoulou- Aravantinou. She is also the director of the ''Children' s Choir'' and a member of the ''Mixed Choir'' of our Organization. Piano plays the professor Albena Penkova, also an active member of the ''Mixed Choir'' of the Polyphonic Choir of Patras.
