On Saturday, January 24th at 19:30, at the Pammikrasiatikos Small Theater, the performance “Our Little Smyrna” will be presented, written by Mary Nikolaou and adapted and directed by Athina Kallimani-Georgitsopoulou. Admission is free.
The performance highlights the moving story of the refugees who settled in the Patras region, bringing with them the customs and traditions of their homeland. Confronted with a new, harsh reality and poverty, they struggle to survive, adapt, and build a new life without acquaintances and with limited resources.
Through the stage, moments of daily struggle for survival, emotion, and hope come to life. This is a performance that reminds us that human resilience and community can flourish even under the most difficult circumstances.
