Theatre Carnival Festivities
The Carnival event “Theatre Carnival Festivities”, organized by KEDIP – Patras Carnival, will take place on Saturday, January 31, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Georgiou Square, in the city of Patras.
On Saturday morning, streamers, confetti, satire and music will come together on stage, creating a festive carnival atmosphere for the public.
The program includes a series of short satirical and comedic theatrical performances presented by nine amateur theatre groups.
The titles of the performances reflect the humorous and playful spirit of the event:
“We Lost the Signal”
“Carnival Chaos”
“The Good and the Bad Carnival-Goers”
“The Matchmaking”
“Upper Town Fun, Lower Town Style”
“The Indecisive Ones”
“Neither Here nor There!”
“Crowned… Who Gets Crowned?”
“Carnival C(ha)TAstrophe”
The theatrical program offers a wide variety of themes and comic situations.
Musical interludes will be performed by the Municipal Band (Conductor: Christos Loukas) and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the “Polyphoniki” Association (Conductor: Giorgos Bourdopoulos).
