We are in the final stage of our preparations for our Organization’s Carnival music and dance performance, “And the Month Has… Eight”, with the kind support of KEDIP – Patras Carnival.
A rich repertoire that begins with Ionian and Athenian serenades, with a main focus on Archontorebetiko songs, which flourished during the 1950s and 1960s.
The performers of this production are students of our Conservatory’s Contemporary Singing Class (class of Chrysa Pantazopoulou), our 10-member orchestra “Muzicanto”, with arrangements and musical direction by Giorgos Papageorgiou, as well as the male section of the Mixed Choir.
Additionally, dancers from the Municipality of Patras, along with dancers from our own organization, form a total ensemble of 50 performers, who on Sunday, February 8, at 8:00 p.m., will once again bring a memorable era to life at the ROYAL Multipurpose Theatre.
All of the above will be presented in the first part of the program, while in the second part, the stage will be transformed into a disco, and a unique dance program, performed by members of our Conservatory, will carry you away with wonderful rhythms and a genuine Carnival celebration.
