With great success, the performances of the THEATRE WORKSHOP of “POLYPHONIC” were presented, featuring the children’s play: “In a Crazy Panic! Trees and Fish Sound the Alarm”, held last week at the 26th and 42nd Primary Schools, the 27th and 56th Kindergartens, as well as during the events marking the 40th anniversary of OIKIPA, at the amphitheatre of the University of Patras (former TEI).
These performances, under the inspired guidance and directorial vision of the Head of the department and project coordinator, Athina Kallimani-Georgitsopoulou, who is also a Municipal Councillor, are presented in schools of the Municipality of Patras. Within the framework of this solidarity initiative, food items were collected for the Municipality’s Social Grocery, in cooperation with the Department of Sports, Environment, Energy and Greenery, and under the auspices of the Department of Education.
These are performances that approach the issue of environmental protection, raising awareness and motivating both children and adults towards a more beautiful city with green spaces and a clean sea.

A large part of the texts is inspired by the fairy tale by Anna Dendrinou, “Fish on the Shore with Placards and Banners” (Kokkini Klosti Publications), the comics of Panos Zacharis, and “Subjects Without a King” by Argyris Chionis.
